YBA Young Adults In The Philippines.

In July the YBA took a team of 7 to co-mission in the Philippines with House of Shalom Ministries and Barunga Baptist Church.

Here’s what happened!

We, alongside our Filipino partners ran a Youth Camp, Children’s Clubs, Youth & Young Adult Worship Night, Sunday Church Services & a Bible School Session.

It was a joy to serve alongside and support our Filipino brothers and sisters and learn from them.   We saw God do incredible things from salvations, healings, re-dedicating lives to really following Jesus, encouragement and empowerment.  We saw God work powerfully in our team with every member feeling a greater hunger for God in their discipleship journey, their passion and vision to reach out back home in their communities and see their friends passionate about Jesus.

And this is what has happened in the 3 months since:

 Some of the team have become student leaders in their churches, some have taken on starting young adult communities/small groups in their church, some are helping out another Baptist church missionally with worship leading and keen to  get their friends involved, another led worship at our YBA prayer day and most of the team are reading the Bible in a Year and all are on walking as passionate disciples of Jesus.
