Thinking Faith Network

DR Richard Gunton, a research scientist who worships at Blenheim Baptist Church in Leeds, is promoting some events in Mirfield and Leeds through Thinking Faith Network, of which he is the co-ordinator for faith in scholarship.

“A New Heaven and a New Earth: Living in hope”  is the theme of the tour by Prof. J. Richard Middleton. (Click here for details). The dates are Thursday, April 27th, 3pm-5pm, "The silence of Abraham, the passion of Job", a free event in the Lecture Room 1, Bilson Building, College of the Resurrection, Mirfield, WF14 0BW.

Friday, April 28th, 7.30pm, "Why are we here? Our sacred calling in God's world," and Saturday, April 29th, 10am-noon, "Voices from the ragged edge, the gritty spirituality of the Psalms for a broken world."   Both at the Quaker Meeting House, 188 Woodhouse Lane, Leeds, LS2 9DX.
